Crowd in front of Red Mill theatre. Item consists of one photograph. Note on the back says this theatre was at 183 Yonge Street. It was Toronto's first "permanent" movie theatre. It was opened in 1906 by John Griffin under the name of The Theatorium, and in 1911 the name was changed to the Red Mill. The advertised movie A Singular Cynic was released in 1914, making this picture no earlier than 1914.
