What was this image's source? Did User:Jacob F. Roecker actually take the picture of the Declaration, or is the creator the United States Government, so it is in the public domain? We have to be vigilant about these kinds of things folks Eric M Gearhart

I took the photo off of the loc.gov website. Sorry if I mislead anyone that I actually took the photo--I did resize and adjust the color for clarity on the website.

As far as I understand the loc.gov's copyrights--if they've published it online--it's public domain.

I've adjusted the text description and hope this clarifies things.
