Gurwinder Singh Sahota (Hindi: गुरविंदर_सिंह_सहोता, Punjabi: ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ_ਸਿੰਘ_ਸਹੋਤਾ, Urdu: گوروندر سنگھ سھوتا) born on March 27, 1987 in Apra, Jalandhar, Punjab, India, better known as Garry Sahota, is an actor and model, who has appeared in over a Thirty Fashion Show's, Modeling Contests and few Telefilms.
Sahota have Modeling experience ranges from catwalks, Fashion, Sports, Fitness, T.V. music videos.
Early Life
He was born in a Punjabi Sikh family in Punjab state to Jagdev Singh Sahota and Manjeet Kaur. He spent his early life in village Apra Phillaur, Jalandhar well known for Golden City of Apra. His father is a landlord and the Ayurvedic doctor. From a very young age, he was recognized as a performer. Sahota was raised in Apra Punjab, He is inspired by Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar. He participated in many fashion shows and won the title of Mr North Chandigarh after which he started his career in the music industry. His first music video was " Sharaban ". then in the same year 2007 he moved to London for work, he then start working in a CO-Operative Store as a till operator and then after few months he become Supervisor. While working in the store he start doing Modeling for the part time. In 2012 he came back to India and his elder brother suggested him to join ICE Balaji Telefilms Institute for acting course, where he got a chance to grow himself as an actor, model. After completing his 3 months course from ICE Balaji Telefilms he's trying his luck in Indian Film and TV industry. In Mumbai, he currently resides in Andheri East. He studied at DAV High School and then DAV College (Chandigarh).
Career
2007
Sahota Start modeling in Chandigarh where he got his 1st Fashion show for NIFD with choreographer Mr. Jeet Barar and Gagreen Saini. Gradually he started getting more limelight in Fashion industry.
He got a role in punjabi music video "Sharaban" after that he got another chance to show himself as a eminent actor in the video "Bazaar, Roop" etc.
2008
He came back to India for a Modeling Contest in Jalandhar (Punjab), where he become 2nd Runner-up and won "Best Tiger Walk and Best Photogenic" awards that made him more confident.
2011
In 2011, he faced the camera for product modeling.
He then appeared in the 2012 Telefilms Gunaah, Jut Married and few more. While doing his course in ICE Balaji.
