In the U.S. Army, the Heavy Equipment Transporter System (HETS) is a truck used to carry the M1 Abrams (tank)|M1 Abrams tank and similar tracked equipment (e.g., the M104 Wolverine|M104 Wolverine mobile assault bridge and U.S. Marine Corps Assault Breacher Vehicle) over roads. Tank tracks have limited service life, and tank transporters save track wear by using extremely heavy trucks to carry tanks and similar large tracked vehicles.

Made by the Oshkosh Truck Company, HETS consists of the combination of a 8x8 M1070 tractor and a 70-ton M1000 semi-trailer. As opposed to earlier U.S. tank transporters, it has seats for the crew of the tank it carries.
