Developed for the U.S. Army, the M1064 mortar carrier family consists of self-propelled mortars mounted in a variant of the M113 armored personnel carrier mounted a 4.2"/107mm mortar, while the M1064A3 changed to a 120mm mortar. A related vehicle, the M1025, used an 81mm mortar. Both the M1025 and M1064 can be upgunned to the 120mm variant.

Israel's Keshet Weapons System is not a full carrier, but rather a replacement for the M121 mortar in any M1064 mortar carrier. It gives the unit commander remote control over mortar fire. An article states delivery is being made to the U.S. Army as well as Israel.[1]
