I have no regrets, although I don't sound like Edith Piaf

This has flowed, perhaps not in the most elegant form, perhaps walking a delicate balance between contextualizing and analyzing Hofstadter's work, perhaps in the shadows and hazes of original analysis and orginal research. I'll keep playing with it -- it's just the sort of thing for a break from insomniac cat nursing. Let's regard this as very much a first draft to complement the Hofstadter main bio, but perhaps to make it more relevant. Not much ego is involved. Howard C. Berkowitz 07:41, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
