Mechlorethamine is a specific member of the class of nitrogen mustards, originally introduced as chemical weapons but now used medically as antineoplastic agents and immunosuppressants. [1]
Its primary indications are for Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Mechlorethamine is toxic to the bone marrow and gastrointestinal system.[2]
