The previous content of ''Education, U.S., History'', written largely by [[User:Richard Jensen]], I have just merged into this article. I believe this to be in accordance with CZ naming conventions. In any case, the opening sentence of that article stated:
:"'''History of Education in the United States''', often called '''Foundations of Education,''' is the study of educational policy, formal instiututions and informal learning from the 17th to the 21st century." (emphasis in original)
In other words, the merged article began with the title of the current article, except for the capitalization. The previous article will be converted to a redir page and double re-dirs will be fixed so as to point to the present article.

The previous content of Education, U.S., History, written largely by User:Richard Jensen, I have just merged into this article. I believe this to be in accordance with CZ naming conventions. In any case, the opening sentence of that article stated:
- "History of Education in the United States, often called Foundations of Education, is the study of educational policy, formal instiututions and informal learning from the 17th to the 21st century." (emphasis in original)
In other words, the merged article began with the title of the current article, except for the capitalization. The previous article will be converted to a redir page and double re-dirs will be fixed so as to point to the present article.
