CZ:Images/Revising Licenses

Occasionally an erroneous license is selected when one uses Citizendium's Upload Wizard. Unfortunately, the Upload Wizard has no provision for re-accessing the drop-down menu of licensing options once a license has been selected from that menu.

In such cases, the license selection can still be revised by clicking on the image file's Edit tab, scrolling down to the section of the edit page that is titled as "License" where the erroneously selected license template is located, deleting that selected license template and replacing it with one of the templates in the table below.

There may be a few existing images in Citizendium that have no licensing at all. In those cases, click on the image file's Edit tab, scroll down to below any information that may be on the file's edit page, enter a section header like this ==License== and , just below that, enter one of the templates from the table below.

The table below includes all of the licensing variations found so far. If you find another one, feel free to add it to the table.
