As you're no doubt aware, My name is Corrin Lakeland. I dislike titles so please don't call me Dr.
I live and work in Wellington, New Zealand at a company called Datamine.  Unsurprisingly then I have a strong interest in data mining. I do have broader academic interests, being something of a jack-of-all-trades within computer science.  My last thesis was in statistical parsing so I am also moderately familiar with linguistics and particularly computational linguistics.

Apart from my academic interests, I enjoy playing the oriental game of go, which you can find excellent information about on this site under [[http://pilot.citizendium.org/wiki/Go_%28board_game%29]].  I also manage the New Zealand Go Society's web site go.org.nz which has a somewhat larger but less polished collection of articles on the game.

Yeah, Hi.

Apart from my academic interests, I enjoy playing the oriental game of go, which you can find excellent information about on this site under [[1]]. I also manage the New Zealand Go Society's web site go.org.nz which has a somewhat larger but less polished collection of articles on the game.
