The Croatian people (or Croats) are an ethnic group living largely in the Balkans. They number a 6 million strong population. There are around 4 million Croats in Croatia and another half a million in Bosnia and Herzegovina (largely in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina). Some 50,000 live in Serbia.
