I see the problem. This is not about aspartame so much as it is about methanol in the diet. The lengthy and divergent sections either need their own article or they need to be drastically cut. The footnoting format needs to be used as well. Much of this is for an editor to decide however. I don't think that there are any significant health concerns relating to the small amounts af aspartame, and feel it's misleading to dwell at length on them. The content on methanal is best incoroprated elsewhere. [[User:Gareth Leng|Gareth Leng]] 12:52, 22 December 2007 (CST)
