Oktoberfest is a yearly festival in Munich. The first Oktoberfest was the celebration of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen in 1810. Oktoberfest has changed through the years and has become a large Volksfest known primarily for the quantity of beer consumed during its duration.
