Carinthia (Slovenian: Koroška, German: Kärnten) is a province in the north of Slovenia. It contains the municipalities of Dravograd, Ravne na Koroškem, Slovenj Gradec, Radlje ob Dravi, Črna, Mežica and Prevalje.
The region must be distinguished from the neighboring Austrian federal state of Carinthia, and is therefore often referred to as Slovenian Carinthia.
