While this wiki was unsuccessful in achieving its original goals from fifteen years ago (see https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-Wikipedia-and-Citizendium), a dedicated few writers have continued working in the wiki, improving articles that they believe are useful, and which for various reasons probably could not be written in Wikipedia. We intend to keep the wiki running.

We have 16,467 articles at different stages of development, of which 146 have expert-approved citable versions. Our community is collegial and congenial; everyone writes under his or her verified real name. We prefer new material but allow work from other sites to be imported and improved under certain conditions.
