Well, one other source [http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%89cole_polytechnique_%28France%29#Scientifiques (in French)] mentions "suites de Cauchy et des critères de convergence associés" but I'm not sure what they refer to as there is no link...;)
 
So I temporarily truncated the sentence. I'm thinking to elaborate it further (to eventually mention "Cauchy sequence" and completeness of a space). Feel free to do it before I come back. [[User:Aleksander Stos|Aleksander Stos]] 13:20, 3 November 2007 (CDT)
