:Note that title was replaced by ''Beat to Quarters'' in the U.S. edition. I'd hesitate to call it a "very dark note." He has restored his naval honor after defeating the ''Natividad'' and repairing the ''Lydia''. Yes, he is not in a happpy situation with Lady Barbara, but he is looking forward to a return to the realities of his first marriage. What is so dark? [[User:Howard C. Berkowitz|Howard C. - I'm not sure I recognize these. Could someone elaborate?

- Note that title was replaced by Beat to Quarters in the U.S. edition. I'd hesitate to call it a "very dark note." He has restored his naval honor after defeating the Natividad and repairing the Lydia.
