Equestrianism, or "equestrian sport", could describe any and all sporting activities in which horses are involved, though in practice it is limited to those which interest the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (Fédération Équestre Internationale; FEI). Although there are variants, this in the main is limited to three disciplines: dressage, show jumping and three-day eventing, all of which are Olympic events.
