I currently am an Editor in the Biology, Physics and Psychology Workgroups. I consider the scope of these workgroups — and that of Citizendium's workgroups in general — to be too broad to be useful for the Approval Process. I also think that the current handling of Editorship in some workgroups is incompatible with an expert-guided project. If elected to the Editorial Council, a restructuring of the coupling between subject-matter expertise and editorial authority would thus be one of my priorities. Other priorities would be the establishment of fruitful partnerships with educational institutions, professional bodies and other open knowledge projects, as well as ensuring a smooth collaboration with the other Citizendium offices and the whole Citizendium community in terms of how to provide a framework to allow quality content to grow, particularly by exploring ways to render Citizendium more compatible with professional workflows.
