Lam Dong Province, which has also been called Tuyen Long and Lam Duc, is in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Dalat is its capital. It is mountainous and heavily forested. It also has been called Tuyen Duc Province.
Dac Lac Province forms its northern boundary. On the southeast, it borders on Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces, and to the west, on Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces.
