Commonality with The Lord of the Rings (LOTR)

Would it makes sense to include, perhaps in the Notes section, characters and other references that later show up in LOTR? Examples:

The characters Bilbo, Gandalf, and Gollum also appear in LOTR (Are there any others?)
The site where Bilbo is captured by trolls is revisited by Frodo and company in LOTR
The race referred to as "goblins" in The Hobbit become "orcs" in LOTR
Sauron from LOTR is referred to as "The Necromancer" in The Hobbit
Anything else worth noting?

I am willing to add these, or if the main article author wishes to do so of course that is fine too. Mark Widmer (talk) 18:47, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
