This article refers to the cocktail. For the British Queen nicknamed Bloody Mary, See Mary I (England). For the musical comedy character, see South Pacific.

A Bloody Mary is a vodka-based cocktail. It contains vodka, tomato juice, and usually Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce and/or spices. Bloody Marys may be garnished with celery sticks. The Bloody Mary is an International Bar Association official cocktail and it is often drunk at brunch. It is so popular that commercially prepared mixes are widely available.

A non-alcoholic drink made from Bloody Mary mix but without vodka is a Virgin Mary or, less frequently, a Bloody Shame (Commonwealth).
