Citizendium Getting Started
Quick Start | About us | Help system | Start a new article | For Wikipedians

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Robert Tito |  Talk  16:56, 11 October 2007 (CDT)

Photo Upload Question

To answer your question from User:Eric_M_Gearhart#Photo_Upload_Question: Sorry but honestly I don't know.. I'm a server admin for CZ, and I helped Stephen Ewen setup the file upload wizard. Constable Stephen Ewen is much more knowledgeable than I am in matters like that... I think if you ask him he would know off the top of his head Eric M Gearhart

By permission photos

Hi James, I'll explain to you how to upload photos used by documented permission a little later tonight. Stephen Ewen 17:10, 15 November 2007 (CST)

Okay, just go to CZ:Upload-Wizard and scroll down to the link "From someone who has given you written permission to use their copyrighted material". Click on it and just follow the directions that will guide you from start to finish. If you have any trouble, just let me know. As you are the first person to test this new system, let me know how it goes. Stephen Ewen 03:06, 16 November 2007 (CST)
