Welcome to Citizendium beta! The Citizendium (sit-ih-ZEN-dee-um), a "citizens' compendium of everything," is an experimental new wiki project. The project, started by a founder of Wikipedia, aims to improve on that model by adding "gentle expert oversight" and requiring contributors to use their real names.

For technical problems: If you get an odd error message, or a page won't load or update, do a "hard refresh" (ctrl-F5 in Windows) of the page you're trying to view. If changes to another page (like a template) affects the display of a page, you may have to make a trivial edit, such as adding a space, to page you want to update. This is because we have caching turned on during launch. If you are still having trouble, mail constables_at_citizendium.org immediately. Bug reports go to bugs_at_citizendium.org (but we'll know about any obvious bugs).
