Ferguson, Missouri is a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. The municipality received world-wide scrutiny after a white policeman's killing of a black youth was seen as an unjust abuse of power, yet he never faced charges.[1][2][3] The United States Department of Justice published a highly critical report of racism within the City's Police Department and City administration.
