To delete or not

I am uncertain about whether to delete this one or not. If we follow backward on the "What Links Here", it eventually leads to several articles (all written by the same person) about defense-related matters. I agree that the entire article cluster is an island and is unlikely to be improved in the future on this wiki. But if we delete a stub like this, let's go ahead and flag the entire article cluster for deletion at the same time. Otherwise, we make the already-weak article cluster even weaker. For example, this stub is being pointed at by the modestly substantial National Rifle Association (NRA) article, which for decades has been a huge political force in the U.S. So maybe not delete this one (and any like it)? Just my 2 cents worth. I would probably just leave it in place, but if you feel a strong urge to zap it, I won't stand in the way, as it is not really adding that much to the wiki. I think if there is any doubt about deletion, Pat, we should keep the article. I'll flag anything that doesn't look worth keeping to me but I'm conscious of the fact that I'm not American and I don't have the everyday knowledge of a US citizen about the country and its people. I'm always happy to remove PropDel, as I've already done several times now. The other side of the coin is that I fully expect British or European subjects to be proposed and then it will be up to me to say we should keep it, if that's what I think. When we get to the stage of actually deleting the PropDels, we need to just look them over again and see if we're missing anything. John (talk) 10:30, 8 February 2024 (CST)
