I am currently a sophmore at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST for short) in Northern Virginia. I am also currently an editor on the staff of my school's science/technology magazine (Teknos). In addition to this, I am also going to be one of the Systems Administrators at my high school's Computer System's Lab, run entirely on linux (including Debian, Scientific Linux running on a central server powering thin-clients, and Solaris).

I am interested in biotechnology and Down Syndrome research, as well as Informational Technology and linux. I run my own linux server (though slow) at my house, and am acquiring more computers so I can implement and learn about AFS and Kerberos.

I am here at Citizendium to do my part in expanding and adding correct information onto the Wikipedia articles that have been duplicated. I fully endorse the Citizendium Statement of Fundamental Policies and am excited to be working on such a great project.

Tasks: start a new article • add basic, wanted or requested articles • add definitionsadd metadata • edit new pages

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! --Larry Sanger 00:21, 15 November 2006 (CST)
