I was born in Kanpur, India, on March 8, 1978. I received Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, in year 2000. From 2000-2001, I worked as a software engineer in a communication software company called Future Software in Chennai (Madras), India. Since 2001, I am pursuing Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. I have finished my preliminary examination and am due to complete the Ph.D. degree in June 2007. Presently, I am working as a research assistant in NanoDynamics Systems Lab in the department of Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University. My research interests concerns distributed control design, studying self assembly and phase transition in large scale systems.
