Alejandra Manjarrez is an undergraduate student from Mexico. Although most of her degree has been done in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), she is currently doing her third year in Monash University, located in Melbourne, Australia. This is possible due to a Peace Scholarship Program. She also represented her country in 2004 in a Research Program Summer (Molecular Genetics), held at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. She has a great interest in Theoretical Biology, Genetics and Development. Apart from science Alejandra is also passionate about culture, literature, art and international issues. She is as well working in a discussion group project on the web (in Spanish).
