Oxford University Press, often abbreviated as OUP, is a major international publisher of 200+ academic and research journals, especially in the life sciences, mathematics, physical sciences, medicine, social sciences, humanities, and law,. Many titles are published in partnership with prestigious learned societies. Many academic libraries have subscriptions to the full-text online versions of all articles. OUP is also famous for its scholarly books, dictionaries and reference works, most notable the Oxford English Dictionary. They are also online by subscription at many academic libraries. Its main offices are in Oxford, England, with branches in New York City and other major cities.

In October 2007 it announced the first issue of the Journal of Topology, published on behalf of the London Mathematical Society.
