The rapid strides that India's is making towards economic liberalisation is having a profound impact on media. Corporatisation is what is making a languid mediascape -- news media (print, television and Internet), entertainment (Bollywood to Kollywood) as well as advertising and event management -- into a vibrant arena of interest to foreign financial investors.
