Left Ventricular Assist Device or LVAD

A Left Ventricular Assist Device is a pump which runs in parallel with a heart to boost the blood flow. The main reason for a patient to have a LVAD implanted is for Bridge To Transplant (BTT) or Destination Therapy (DT). Currently, the top three companies in this field are: 1.
