The Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP) (Irish: Páirtí Daonlathach Sóisialta an Lucht Oibre) is a left-wing political party in Northern Ireland, and the second-largest Irish nationalist party after Sinn Féin. The SDLP rejects all forms of violence and is affiliated with the Socialist International organisation. The party currently has 16 members in the Northern Ireland Assembly.
