William H. Warner was a lake freighter, launched on April 21, 1923. She was built by American Ship Building of Lorain Ohio, for Panda Steamship Company. Her design was based on that of the J. Pierpont Morgan, the first of the "600 footers".

She was sold to International Harvester in 1933, and renamed The International in 1934.

Her boilers were converted to oil, from coal, in 1950.

She was sold to Envirodyne in 1977, and renamed Maxine.

She was acquired by Pierson Steamships Ltd in 1981, and renamed the J. F. Vaughn, only to be acquired by P. & H. Shipping Ltd. and renamed Oakglen.

In October 1988 she was towed to a shipbreaker, in Turkey.
