Rebecca Gordon

Rebecca Gordon is an adjunct Professor of Philosophy at the University of San Francisco, who has written extensively on the question of whether torture can be ethically defended.[1] Gordon received a B.A. from Reed College, and the M.Div. and Ph.D. in Ethics and Social Theory from Graduate Theological Union[2]. In 2014, she published a book, "Mainstreaming Torture: Ethical Approaches in the Post-9/11 United States", on this topic[3].
