This article is really short, it is almost a definition. I really cannot figure out if it is ok to have it in CZ. I posted it because it is necessary to "read" stratigraphy article as, e.g, chronostratigraphy.

There is a supposedly article on this topic in WP which is rather long: faunal stage. However, that text is really about the concept of biozone, and is a little confused in my view.

Maybe I could add some lines to the article, but I wonder if there is really something else which is essential to say... any suggestions?

Same for Age (geology), of course. I didn't post a comment there, though.
