Concealment

In U.S. military doctrine, concealment protects against observation or detection by intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. The classic visual form of concealment is camouflage, but so is hiding a facility underground or inside a building. Electronic warfare includes a wide range of concealment methods, including jamming sensors so they cannot detect the object of interest, or using deceptive decoys to draw attention from the real object or electronic signal.
