The Council for the National Interest (CNI) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit interest group that lobbies in favor of U.S. policies toward the State of Israel, which are based on U.S. interests, as well as U.S. values. It is paired with the Council for the National Interest Foundation (CNIF), 501(c)3 non-profit organization "that provides information and analysis on the Middle East, its relationship to the United States, and about policy formation regarding this region.
