A force multiplier is a technology, operating doctrine, or combination of techniques that, in the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff definition, "...when added to and employed by a combat force, significantly increases the combat potential of that force and thus enhances the probability of successful mission accomplishment.[1]
In air warfare, force multipliers include low observability (i.e., stealth), precision guided weapons, and airborne command & control.
