The Occidental Observer is published by the Charles Martel Society, which also produces the Occidental Quarterly. In its mission statement, its editor, Kevin MacDonald, wrote that it will address White nationalist "themes of white identity, white interests, and the culture of the West."[1] Macdonald is Professor of Psychology, California State University (Long Beach). It was called a "primary voice for anti-Semitism from far-right intellectuals by the Anti-Defamation League.

The Occidental Quarterly, "a racist print publication that mimics the look and style of academic journals and has been in existence since 2001. In its own words, it hopes to "defend the racial group that created and sustains our civilization."" [2] It is edited by Greg Johnson.
