Old Thompson is a brand of American whiskey produced by Barton Brands, which is now owned by the Sazerac Company. It is known for its low price level.
It is a blended whiskey that consists of 80% neutral grain spirit and mixture of different bourbon whiskeys. More expensive whiskeys sold in the market, such as straight bourbons, may not contain added neutral grain spirit.
