Want/To-do List

  • Note: This entry does not yet contain any of the details of Altmeier's work on implementing Social Security from 1935-1953. --Roger Lohmann 17:21, 7 November 2007 (CST)
  • This article could use a picture of Altmeier if someone can scrounge one up somewhere. --Roger Lohmann 17:42, 7 November 2007 (CST)

References

The first reference in this article is to Altmeyer's Formative Years of Social Security which was published in 1966. The subsequent notes reference an Altmeyer volume for 1968. Was this meant to be the same volume or is it a reference to a different book? Russell D. Jones 21:02, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

No Biography?

As far as I can tell at this point and I've done a few searches of the major databases, there is no monograph biography of Altmeyer, nor is there any journal or magazine biography of him either. Am I wrong? If someone knows of a published biography, please let us know. Thanks. Russell D. Jones 02:09, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Toward approval

This article is properly executed as a three editor approval for this version and will be approved on June 15, 2010 unless the ToApprove template is removed by an editor. P.S. It needs copyediting, so I assume there will be subsequent versions that will need to be updated by June 15. D. Matt Innis 18:19, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
