David and Chris, Thank You for all your help.  This format is what I wantd.  I have a few questions: 1) I need to add another section, "Reference," how would I be able to another section? 2) If I were to add a picture, how would be able to this? 3)I need to change my title from "Evolution of hominid intelligence" to "Evolution of hominin intelligence" is it possible to change my title?  Again, thank you for all your help. Format

I am a little confused as to what you mean regarding the format. Do you want the Homo ... sections to each be a separate subpage of this page? The article looks in pretty good shape right now. Please reply here or on your talk page. David E. Volk 10:44, 28 March 2008 (CDT)

David, i already formatted it, so you did not see how it was. I made edits to add subsections are well as standardise the lead section and added a few internal links. Diana, is this what you wanted? Chris Day 12:49, 28 March 2008 (CDT)

Diana: Consider discussing with your professor whether you wish to develop the article as the evolution of 'hominid' intelligence or 'hominin' intelligence, since 'hominid' includes the Great Apes whereas 'hominin' refers to the lineage from which Homo sapiens emerged.

As I understand the most recent definition:

Hominid - the group consisting of all modern and extinct Great Apes (that is, modern humans, chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans plus all their immediate ancestors).
Hominin - the group consisting of modern humans, extinct human species and all our immediate ancestors (including members of the genera Homo, Australopithecus, Paranthropus and Ardipithecus).
