  • An Analytic Approach to Marketing Decisions, Robert F. Dyer & Ernest H. Forman, Prentice-Hall Publ., 367 pp., 1991. This text shows how the AHP decision making approach is totally compatible with the traditional approach to case instruction advocated by nearly all casebooks and business school case courses, i.e., state the problem, present the alternatives, specify criteria, evaluate trade-offs, and perform a synthesis to arrive at a final decision.
  • Case Studies in Marketing Decisions Using Expert Choice, R.F. Dyer, E. A. Forman, E. H. Forman, and G. Jouflas, Expert Choice, Inc. Publ., 177 pp., Revised in 1996. This is a workbook of applications and case studies that show how to provide decision support to executives making marketing decisions in such areas as market research, competition, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Proceedings of the Second (1991), Third (1993), Fourth (1996) & Fifth International Symposiums on the Analytic Hierarchy Process. Many papers on theory and practice in each volume.

Looking for the best format for this bibliography

Here we are trying to determine the best format for citing Saaty's books on this site. Maybe the book we chose for the examples isn't the best one, though--it is from 1991 and may even be out of print.

Amazon.com has a photo of the cover, showing different authors, a long title, mention of the series, etc. See it HERE.

The present Wikipedia bibliography in the Saaty article shows this. Seems like it refers to a totally different book. Maybe it has the wrong ISBN. Not the "annotation," describing what is in the book. We might want to do this in the Citizendium bibliography:
