Hey David, I noticed you have been adding a good number of new articles. I thought I could save you (and others) time by mentioning the [[CZ:The Article Checklist|Article Checklist]]. If you add it to the talk page of your new articles, you can fill in the categories there and have the alphabetizing by last name work automatically (using the 'abc' field). Better yet, go ahead and start the article with subpages using "method 2" at [[CZ:Start article with subpages]]. (It's not as complicated as it appears.) | |||
Just remember: ''don't'' add "Workgroup" to the category names in the checklist; in other words, put "cat1 = Media" rather than "cat1 = Media Workgroup". Hi,
I saw that you took charge of the Industrial Revolution (the article, I mean). Is this in an editorial or writing capacity? Are the plan to rewrite it imminent or something you'd dabble with in the future? I'd like to know so I can see if it is better to invest or divest... Ori Redler 21:21, 23 November 2006 (CST)
Nepali Media and Madhesi Movement article
Can you look at Nepali Media and Madhesi Movement if you have time - do you think it should be wikified, moved to Cold Storage or deleted? John Stephenson 04:21, 13 October 2007 (CDT)
Looked at it briefly. I am no expert on Nepal, however, I think that this sort of thing is very valuable and helps distinguish this effort by going beyond the obvious. Some immediate thoughts on content: It seems like it could use a little editing, mostly to clarify what the Madhesi movement is.... Also, it might be slightly more neutral in town, avoiding phrases like "agitator" unless placed in quotes. If you want me to do any edits, I can take a crack at it.
Hope this is helpful. David Shapinsky

Checklisting articles
Hey David, I noticed you have been adding a good number of new articles. I thought I could save you (and others) time by mentioning the Article Checklist. If you add it to the talk page of your new articles, you can fill in the categories there and have the alphabetizing by last name work automatically (using the 'abc' field). Better yet, go ahead and start the article with subpages using "method 2" at CZ:Start article with subpages. (It's not as complicated as it appears.)
Just remember: don't add "Workgroup" to the category names in the checklist; in other words, put "cat1 = Media" rather than "cat1 = Media Workgroup". Otherwise you end up with a broken link to "Category: Media Workgroup Workgroup". --Eric Winesett 23:27, 12 November 2007 (CST)
