Eurobond [r]: (i) A bond that is offered for sale outside the country of the issuing corporation, for example a bond issued by a US company or bank, offered for sale in Europe, and dominated in euros; (ii) a joint bond that is issued by a eurozone government and guaranteed jointly by all member governments of the eurozone. (Definition (i) refers to an established institution of long standing, whereas definition (ii) refers to a recent proposal) [e]
