Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

In chemistry, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is "a microanalytical technique combining mass spectrometry and gas chromatography for the qualitative as well as quantitative determinations of compounds."[1]
It is used in urine drug testing for monitoring use of opioid analgesics.[2]
