The Patriot League is a Division I[1] college and university athletic conference, regulated by the National College Athletic Association (NCAA)[2], that operates in the northeastern U.S. states. The sports played include American football, basketball, field hockey and lacrosse.

The Patriot League is the subject of a 2001 book, The Last Amateurs, by John Feinstein.[3]
