...as I've been starting to update Public Switched Telephone Network.
Now, I do have a certain sympathy for the theory that Bell wanted to call to have a pizza delivered, but realized first had to invent the telephone. When one discovers that the actual reason for the invention of dial telephony/switching is as a result of diversion of bodies from a funeral parlor in Kansas City, is it really so weird?
