Should this be renamed "algebraic geometry"?

  2. The standard is: first word of title is capitalized other words are not, unless there is good reason to capitalize the other word(s) as well. ("Good reason" usually means long discussions back and forth).

From CZ:naming_conventions, "The article title should be lowercase.[1] A name which is typically used with title case in a normal sentence should use that form in the article title. So: love and computational complexity theory; but American Chemical Society and Mississippi River." It says that the first letter is currently "forced" capital by the system, but is generally considered lower case. I guess I just don't understand this last comment. I thought I'd seen title's displayed without the forced capitalization, but maybe not. Barry R. Smith 10:52, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
